CCID’s Institute of Cybersecuritycarries out research and consulting, technical services and publicity and education to safeguard cybersecurity. The institute mainly serves national research institutions and local governments at all levels, providing consulting services on major policies, strategies, standards, regulations and planning in the field of cybersecurity. Its business covers cybersecurity planning, cybersecurity industry, industrial Internet security, supply chain security, data security and digital economy, and network reliability.
Dr. Liu Quan is a senior engineer and serves as the Directorof CCID’s Institute of Cybersecurity. He is mainly engaged in the development planning and strategic research in the fields of informationization, blockchain, network trust and cybersecurity. Over the years, he has undertaken more than 100 national projects such as China’s information security strategy research, cyberpower strategy research, network trusted identity strategy research, blockchain innovation and development research, etc. He has published more than 100 papers in domestic and international magazines and journals and over 20 professional books. Moreover, he has developed nearly 10 national standards, dozens of group standards, and applied for multiple national patents.
Yan Xiaoli, a senior economist, is the Deputy Director of of CCID’s Institute of Cybersecurity. She is mainly engaged in laws and regulations, development planning and strategic research in the field of cyberecurity and data security. She has participated in the preparation of multiple national or ministerial-level plans and policies, led a number of important projects commissioned by national, provincial and municipal government departments, published several articles inXinhuanet,People’s Daily, andChina Economic Times, and published over 20 papers in academic journals on cyberecurity.
Wang Chao, a senior engineer with a Ph.D. in Engineering, is the Research Director of Supply Chain Security Research Division of the Institute of Cybersecurity. He has long been engaged in research on cybersecurity laws and regulations, policy standards, technology industry and ICT supply chain security.
