The 2024 BRICS Partnership Forum on New Industrial Revolution was convened on September 10-11 in Xiamen City, Fujian Province. The Forum was co-hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the People's Government of Fujian Province. Vice President Zhang Xiaoyan of CCID attended the forum and demonstrated the achievement of the New Industrial Revolution Partnership Network of the Global Development Initiative (GDI-PartNIR Network).

The Network of the Partnership on New Industrial Revolution under the Framework of Global Development Initiative (GDI-PartNIR Network) was launched by China in April 2023 with CCID as one of the founding members to put the Global Development Initiative into practice by strengthening the cooperation in the fields of industrialization and digitization for a stronger, greener and healthier global development. Zhang Xiaoyan said that, in retrospect to the year since the network was established, with the support and efforts of all parties, the network has witnessed steady development with continuously widespread influence. In terms of network partners, on the basis of the first 88 members, 23 new members from 7 countries, including Brazil, Cuba, Peru, Argentina, the United Arab Emirates, Hungary and China, joined the Network. The Network consisted of so far 111 diversified entities from 19 countries. In terms of achievement, the Network has launched an official website and compiled a case collection of the members' industrial policies and practices; The Network cooperated with famous think tanks in ASEAN, EU and the Middle East to jointly launch international intellectual products; actively constructed platforms and organized exchanges between network members and business associations worldwide; and carried out industrial alignment with countries in Asia and Latin America to build a new ecosystem for industrial cooperation in an all-round way. In the next step, the network will focus on building an innovative, inclusive and development-oriented partnership for the global new industrial revolution, pursuing shared success through joint research, promoting co-creation through exchanges, and achieving win-win situation through industrial development. The Network welcomes more partners to usher in a new journey together.
