On April 1st, the 2025 CCID Forum was held in Beijing, organized by the China Center for Information Industry Development (CCID) and the Research Center for New Industrialization of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Xin Guobin, a member of the Party Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, attended the forum and delivered a speech. Zhang Li, the president of CCID, released the key theoretical research results on new industrialization in 2024, and Zhang Xiaoyan, the vice president of CCID, presented the cooperation achievements of the Global Development Initiative New Industrial Revolution Partnership Network. CCID signed memorandums of understanding with international think tanks such as the Kingsley Strategic Institute of Malaysia, the Europe-Asia Center, and the Trends Research and Consultancy Center of the United Arab Emirates. The forum was hosted by Liu Wenqiang, the Party Secretary of the China Center for Information Industry Development.

This forum, themed "New Industrialization: New Driving Forces, New Chapters", featured over 50 industry experts sharing their insightful views. It saw extensive participation from industry authorities across 31 provinces and municipalities in China, as well as over 100 representatives from more than 20 countries jointly mapping out the development blueprint. Over 20 significant research findings were released. Keynote speeches were delivered by Su Bo, former Deputy Minister and Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and current Director of the Academic Committee of the China Center for Information Industry Development; Wang Jiangping, a member of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, former Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and senior researcher and senior engineer; Kandeh Yumkella, Regional Director of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization; Shi Dan, academician of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and former director of the Institute of Industrial Economics, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences; Li Daokui, director of the Institute of Chinese Economic Thought and Practice at Tsinghua University and professor at the School of Social Sciences, Tsinghua University; Hu Jianjun, vice president of Siemens (China) Co., Ltd.; and Wang Qizhou, deputy general manager of Hangzhou Unitree Technology Co., Ltd.

We will promote the in-depth integration of scientific and technological innovation and industrial innovation, and enhance the resilience and security of industrial and supply chains. We will accelerate the building of an industrial system with advanced manufacturing as the backbone, transform and upgrade traditional industries, and foster and expand emerging and future industries. We will accelerate the digital, intelligent and green transformation and upgrading of industries, implement the digital transformation action for manufacturing and the "AI + manufacturing" action, and optimize the green manufacturing and service system. We will comprehensively deepen reform and expand opening up, and effectively implement the reform tasks in the industrial and information technology fields.

At the meeting, Zhang Li released the key theoretical research results on new industrialization for 2024, which were undertaken by seven research institutes of the CCID Research Institute, including the Planning Research Institute, the Institute of Informatization and Software Industry, the Radio Management Research Institute (Future Industry Research Center), the Institute of Industrial Economics, the Institute of Science and Technology and Standards, the Institute of Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection, and the Institute of Civil-Military Integration. These research results include "Research on the Path to Promote New Industrialization during the 15th Five-Year Plan Period", "Artificial Intelligence Empowering New Industrialization: Paradigm Shift and Development Path", "Research on the Development Strategy of New Tracks for Future Industries in China", "China's Manufacturing Internationalization: Trends, Risks and Responses", "New Quality Productivity in the Digital Economy Era: Transformation Logic and Cultivation Strategies", "Research on the Path and Countermeasures for Deep Integration of Scientific and Technological Innovation and Industrial Innovation", "Research on the Path of Supporting the Greening of Manufacturing with New Energy", and "Calculation System of Aerospace Economy: International Experience and Chinese Solutions".

Zhang Xiaoyan released the cooperation achievements of the Global Development Initiative New Industrial Revolution Partnership Network, promoting all parties to jointly strengthen cooperation in the fields of digitalization, intelligence and green development.
