Founded as Fujian Superior Normal School in 1907 by the famous late Qing scholar Chen Baochen, who once served as the teacher of China’s last emperor, Fujian Normal University was jointly supported by the Ministry of Education and Fujian government and was designated as the Class A university in the second round“Double First Class”construction project of Fujian Province.
