With the triumph of the Cuban Revolution on January 1, 1959, Cuba embarked on a nationwide revolution, the brunt of which was the reform of education. Cuba created the conditions for the beginning of university reform in the true sense of the word. The Cuban University of Science and Technology of Havana (CUJAE), which is part of the Cuban Ministry of Higher Education, currently has nine faculties offering 13 degree programs, and 12 research centers, almost all of which are associated with the faculty. These research centers are the core of the scientific work and bring together the most important and relevant results.
