On April 2, 2018, the Automotive Electronics Industry Alliance (hereinafter “AEIA”) was officially established in Beijing under the guidance of the Electronic Information Department of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. The establishment of AEIA aims to build a public service platform for industrial development, promote the foundation upgrading of China’s automotive electronics industry, modernize the industry chain, advance the technological progress of China’s intelligent networked automotive electronics, gather resources from multiple industries such as electronics, automotive and finance, promote research on forward-looking issues, collaborative research on key technologies and development of standards, specifications and industrial applications, and drive the construction of a new ecosystem for the automotive electronics industry. Up to now, AEIA boasts more than 400 member enterprises.
